The members of the Parma VFW merged with the
members of the Lilbourn VFW. The VFW (Lilbourn) paid for the stones in
front of the flagpole in front of the Parma Community Center. Several
members of the VFW from Parma prepared the base, laid the stones and
filled the spaces for a beautiful instillation. |

| Veterans Memorial in front of the Parma Community Center -
This monument was dedicated at a ceremony in front of the Parma Community Center on April
16, 1997. That date commemorated the bicentennial celebration of the Parma Veterans
of Foreign Wars, Post #9359. |
