Worst Ice Storm in a Long Time

We Finally have Power Again

Parma was without power for more than 96 hours due to the latest Ice storm.  Long-time resident George Husted reports that it is the worst in his memory.  All trees are damaged to some degree.

Recent upgrades to the city water system from funds provided by the USDA Rural Development Program added generators to power the water pumps in cases just like this, so the city did not lose water service during this extended power outage.
